National Technical Library, tour

The library is six floors. On the ground floor, there are public spaces: seating areas, a cafe, a computer store, and some exhibit space.

From here you can enter the small public library branch or the main technical library.

The check-in and sorting is automated.

There are also self-checkout stations.

Upon walking up the first flight of stairs, you see the atrium which has been painted by a Romanian artist.

The drawings portray quite liberal ideas and initially there was some protest, but they seem to be accepted now.
